Villa Hermosa
The site incorporated two challenges. The existing building pad was (8) ft. above the adjacent street and the site looked directly across the golf course to another home. By creating a series of landings and wide steps which took the visitor to the front entry under a wood trellis, the first challenge was resolved. To solve the second issue, the 4,500 sq. ft. home was rotated, providing a view down the fairway and valley beyond.

Traditions
Located in a private golf club, this 5,000 sq. ft. home is located at the base of a mountain and looking onto the adjacent golf course. A major feature of the design is, as one enters the circular rotunda, the first view is a mountain waterfall cascading into a meandering stream that terminates as a swimming pool. The detached “casita” includes two bedrooms and a living room also looking onto the stream. The garage and adjacent motor court is separated from the circular “public” motor court by an ivy covered stucco wall.
