The Reserve (South)
Providing a lower level which houses the garage, wine storage and utilities, the somewhat limited site, became an exciting opportunity for the upper living areas to view the overwhelming down valley views. The selection of the curved roof system which extends beyond the interior spaces was an attempt to extend the interior spaces into the exterior uses. By supporting the roof on steel “trees”, the roof seems to float over the living areas and expanding the adjoining rooms.
