This 1-1/2 acre site, located in a very prestigious private golf club with a magnificent view of the valley below, and the green of a par (3) adjacent to the property, provided a very special design opportunity.

Due to the large site, the design incorporated an abundant use of reflection pools, streams, swimming pool and special landscaping, which reinforced the client’s wish of creating an “oasis” environment. Even the interior included a stream that created a dining “island” which overlooks the vista beyond. The client requested two very distinct styles of design, contemporary and Spanish. The challenge was to develop a floor plan that could be adapted to either style.
